Kill the Doctor Empty Kill the Doctor

It turns out Mari was so desperate to take her mind off her inner demons she was willing to take on any job. Even jobs that required killing. It was a horrible thought. Pacifist she told herself, pacifist she wasn’t. Did she like fighting? No. Sounded promising. Then did she kill people? On the rare occasion...perhaps once or twice a month…or week, depended on her mood. She thought through this dryly. She was deriving no pleasure from this mental chat of hers. She sighed and leaned against the wall unnoticed. And then Maya talked to her. She was noticing the change in her behaviour. Mari wasn’t surprised. Who wouldn’t notice the change in her behaviour? Usually she was all bouncy and happy but now? Now she was pretty much solemn and gloomy. Drastically different from the former presence must be know all the time attitude.

The eighteen year old raised an eyebrow. So Maya thought killing people would help her return to her usual bubbly self? Great thinking. But she wasn’t as against the idea as she’d initially thought she would be. Kill the person, get on with life. Do not get on Maya’s bad side.

What she had to do was kill some Doctor called Dr Griffon. Fair enough. Even if she didn’t know the guy. Apparently his lab was in the northern forest of Crocus and he was trying to make a potion that eradicated all evil. If she had been any dumber she would have argued that having a potion that eradicated all evil would be beneficial. Maybe this potion’s eradication of evil depended on who was using it. Maybe if they got their hands on it the Magic Council would disappear merely because Shadow Heart thought they were evil. Maybe even the potion only made everybody good in personality and that wasn’t such a bad thing now was it.

But of course, she held her tongue and instead, rolled her eyes at the young woman. She nodded her head to tell her she’d take the mission and off she went on her merry way. She didn’t know if she was actually going to kill this Dr Griffon guy though. Maybe she’d fake his death, beat him into having a severe case of amnesia, or possibly just destroy the potion. Maybe she could even try and convince him that is no such thing as a potion that can eradicate all evil because evil is what people perceive and can be anything. Also evil was a personality trait…it’d be bit hard to do so without rendering lots of people in the world to be brain dead.

Despite her little mental battle, the girl managed to reach his lab with minimal problem. She knocked on the door and she didn’t know why, but apparently her evil intent seemed to radiate from her. 3 Magical Robots that otherwise might have looked cute attacked her. They each fired 5 bolts of fire in her direction so she simply activated her shield to help aid in her defence in case she didn’t dodge each one. Because they weren’t living she found it pretty easy to use the three robots as weapons, using her telekinesis in order to do so.

At this point, Dr Griffon came in and tried to talk her out of it. She simply inclined her head and told him she had a mission to complete and that she needed to destroy his data. He freaked when she mentioned the destroying of data and the girl figured that was what he feared most. Also that if she did do so he might lose all hope and most of his plans would suffer a mighty flop.

So using the robots under her control, she smashed them into all kinds of glass labs, research, paper, books, journals…all sorts. While the robots were hardy, they weren’t withstanding the amount of force her telekinesis was adding in to them. When they broke it was safe to assume it was absolutely pointless in flying scrap bits of metal or rubbish to destroy a lab and so, she changed tactic and used her chaos attack to create…well chaos.

Now everything that was destroyed absolutely combusted but that still wasn’t enough. Super steel was need in labs so she needed super strength. Well not really. She took a splintered wooden chair and started creating dents into some retardedly strong safe. She was guessing this was wear all his research for the eradication of evil lied.

Kill the Doctor Empty Re: Kill the Doctor

To be honest she wasn’t even sure what happened to the poor scientist guy. She came in, trashed his lab, felt pretty impersonal about it and didn’t even bother to see what happened to him. That could either mean she was nice or a robot. Nice in that she didn’t want to see whether he died and let him escape if he chose to or robot, in that she just didn’t care until her task was done. She was thinking a mixture of both. A nice robot. That’d be a first.

And so this nice robot broke into the safe and killed the potion, smashing it into the ground, leaving no room for any trace of it being recovered.

It so turned out that the silver curly haired man aka Dr Griffon didn’t leave and tried to reason with her. Bad mistake. Also, he should have tried reasoning with her before she started going all feral with his now very and extremely broken lab. Now he was a foolish man’s mission doomed to fail. She glared at him and quite frankly told him that she needed to kill him since she was hired to. Dr Griffon didn’t react all too well to this astonishing news and instead stayed silent. She smirked and then proceeded to leave.

Dr Griffon appeared to think he was winning but really, he wasn’t. She rolled her eyes and turned back to actually finish the job. She was intending on being nice before but really, what was the point. And so she assassinated him. Not one shred of pity for him. Maybe later she’d wake up from this nightmare and finally understand what she’d had done whilst her heart was locked up in steel.
