Maokai's Illusion Magic
Maokai will have a illusionist, mental wrecker feel to his magic.
- Properties of Illusions:
Element: Illusions
MP: Depends on spell.
Illusions are realistic looking but imaginary objects that can be summoned by an illusionist. All illusions must be maintained and have sustained as part of their spell description. They must also have Non-lethal as they are figments of imagination and can not do real damage unless shattered.- Power:

* - Basic illusion, no sensory properties
** - Can produce a limited range of sound effects, such as running
*** - Can create any sound, such as running, talking, etc.
**** - Can fool normal human sense of smell
***** - Can fool superior senses (senses rated at *** or fewer. Note: DS's have senses rated at ****, while normal humans are rated at *.)
****** - Can fool any senses, though magic that allows true sight can see through them.
Speed:
Speed uses the melee range speeds to determine how fast the illusion can move, if at all.
Area:
Area affects how far away the illusion can exist away from the illusionist.

Name: Shatter
Element: Light - Illusion

Effect: Illusions are very fragile. When broken, illusions shatter, which appears like glass breaking. Shattering illusions deals damage to foes around it. This can be caused by the caster touching the illusion or by command from the caster. Causes illusions to shatter dealing damage. Only illusions can be targets for shatter.

Name: Doppelganger
Element: Light - Illusion

Sustain cost: 5 MP
Effect: Summon an illusion that appears to be an identical double of you. It appears to attack and perform any action that the caster wishes. As an illusion, it can do no damage unless tergetted by Maokai's Shatter spell. The illusion moves roughly 6 meters a second. While the illusion is up, it must be maintained. The illusion appears to be a replica of Maokai, but can be seen through by the use of sensory magics or those with sufficiently heightened senses (rated ** or higher)

- Illusional Cover:
Name: Illusional Cover
Element: Light - Illusion

Sustain Cost: 5 MP
Effect: Cast an illusion on top of yourself, hiding in plain sight. You must sustain the spell while hiding in the illusion. the illusion can be anything the caster has seen in his life. As an illusion, it can deal no damage because it is not real. The illusion may be no bigger than the caster, and can be seen through sensory magic or senses rated ** or higher.

Effect: A prismatic colored ray is fired from the caster's palm. If the ray makes contact with the target, they suffer trauma as if taking actual damage.

Name: Mana Trap
Element: Light - Illusion

Effect: The caster encircles the enemy in a spell that resembles binding chains. When the chains disappear, they are Spell Bound, blocking off the knowledge of how to use powers of rating 2 or lower for one post.

I'll check with Max to see what he thinks soon. Shattering will, of course, have to be its own spell at some point, though I don't think it'll be for a rank or two.
I think it looks pretty good, though for Aneurysm, since it isn't ranged you might want to rephrase the effects wording a bit.
I'm going to make a few special qualities to give to illusion-based magic too, when we work on uncommon type magics - including the Fragile special quality.
I figure for an illusion spell with no speed rating, it would take a small amount of time to conjure, and would thus best be used from cover rather than in the middle of a fight.
One last thing - Doppelganger has 3 points in extra, but only 2 extras since nonlethal is free.
I think it looks pretty good, though for Aneurysm, since it isn't ranged you might want to rephrase the effects wording a bit.
