Tatsuma's spells for training

Lightning Scalpel:


Spell name: Lightning Scalpel
Element: lightning
Rank: 3
MP cost: 25
Overcharge cost: 50
Sustain cost: 13
Overcharge sustain cost: 25
Effect: Electricity crackles around Tatsuma's fingertips on his right hand for a split second before extending into two inch claws buzzing with electricity. These claws cause the same kind of shocking, nerve wracking, numbing damage most of his electrical spells cost.
In addition he may overcharge the spell, causing claws to grow from both hands thus allowing him to hit more than one target at once.

Spell name: Lightning Dragon Fang
Element: Lightning
Rank: 3
MP cost: 25
Sustain cost: 13
Effect: Tatsuma unleashes a vicious kick to his opponent causing a violet electric glyph to appear on the area struck. This glyph remains for as long as he has this power sustained. During the first part the target is unable to case spells, blinded, and numbed for a short amount of time, however, their agility remains affected for the duration of the spell and the glyph remains to indicate this.

The glyph is shaped like a  shield or dragon scale.

Lightning Storm:


Spell name: Lightning storm
Element:lightning
Rank: 2
MP cost:15
Sustain cost:8
Effect: Electricity crackles around Tatsu's fists augmenting his attacks. As long as this buff is active all of Tatsuma's attacks are electrically enhanced and deal damage as according to the his power rating (****) or equal to the power of the spell, whichever is lower. As long as this remains active Tatsuma's fists, feet, knees, elbows, and shins are all electrically augmented. It should be noted that this power cannot be used in conjunction with Lightning scalpel.

Primal mode:

Spell name: primal mode
Element: none

Sustain cost: 13
Effect: Tatsuma taps into his killer instinct, forgetting emotion, safety, and compassion for the sake of pure murderous intent. When this is activated, anyone that was considered an enemy before is subject to summary destruction as he goes into a killing frenzy, seeking to destroy the enemies of himself and his friends, though the latter is other there for an excuse.

If this power is used and sustained in conjunction with lightning flash the power from this ability is used to determine the cloaking effect. Since both abilities increase agility the speed at which Tatsu moves is very difficult to follow as he seems to blink in and out of existence. This can give the illusion that he is teleporting when in fact he is moving under cloak of magic.

The most important feature of this power is that Tatsuma is no longer subject to random bursts of killer rage and has managed to gain control of his temper, only the activation of this ability will cause him to go into a murderous rampage. As such he is loathe to use it in any but the most dire of situations.

All these spells look good... except Overdrive mode. Normally for a healing spell that isn't sustained... Power is how much total healing the spell restores. Speed affects how many get healed per post. with no stars in speed, you're healing one star per post, so it's not exactly instantly healing all wounds.

I'd say change the wording slightly so as to not give the wrong impression with the spell, or change the stars to heal faster.
