There was something about the winds in a port town that just calmed her. Cyan eyes gazed from high on top of a store front nearing the edge of the town that was closer to the ships and the docks. Her bangs swept softly over the tips of her long eye lashes as they appear half lidded, watching the people go by.

Melodic sounds of a woman singing four blocks away was caught by her sense of hearing and the smell of cooking fish made her stomach slightly roll and growl with want and need of the food. Instead, she hummed along with the song the woman was singing from far off. Food was something that Lenne found hard to come by when needing to pay for it.

"Maybe it's time to look for what Luma needed.." Her voice carried along with the winds, and quickly she appeared to be exiting an alley way, merging in with the rest of the crowds. Her sense of smell was quickly placed into over drive, suddenly seeking the smell her foster grandmother tried to describe.

It would smell like sea weed, but yet the vile portion of this plant is the smell of fear..

Lenne frowned, smell of fear? Of course she's smelled fear before when she'd take mercenary requests. Some men were just afraid of her, and she couldn't fathom the reason why sometimes. But of course, whatever Grandma Luma wanted, Grandma Luma got.

Especially because of her sense of smell.

Raven stepped out of the inn and stretched. He was still exhausted from that mission on Galuna island. Exhausted and sore summed him up. Thankfully, anything that had needed bandaging were under his clothes. For the casual stroll he was on, he’d taken the leather jacket. The scaled wings embroidered on the back glistened when the clouds let sunlight through. Black pants matched the jacket, and contrasted with the white button up shirt underneath. The breeze made his hair look more unkempt than usual, but with his outfit, it looked oddly in place.

He’d left his companion in the inn. She was equally as exhausted, and he figured he’d try to be a little nice and let her sleep in. It wasn’t like she needed to follow him everywhere after all. And so he’d enjoy the peace that being alone carried. He slipped his hands into his pockets, hunching forward ever so slightly. If one saw him, he wouldn’t look like a powerful mercenary that felled demons and saved cities.

That’s when his nose caught the scent of something strange. Strange and powerful only began to describe it. He tried to think of scent’s he’d smelled in the past to match it, but only came up with nothing. It was similar to something else though… Shaking his head he began to follow it.

He could tell it was a person. Whoever it was smelled oddly like water. And there was a strong sense of femininity in the scent. However, he was in the middle of a crowd, so he couldn’t pick out who exactly was giving off such a scent. That’s when he spotted a strange woman leaving the alley and mingling with the crowd. Swinging closer to the alley, the scent got stronger. Which meant he’d found who it was. But with that in mind, he couldn't act on it. Not without giving his magic away most likely. So he’d settle on following for the time being. People with strange scents were either helpful people or trouble makers. Either way though, they tended to be strong.

Cyan eyes scanned the vendors in the soft afternoon glow. There was something, maybe it was how she was carrying herself or the type of clothing that she wore. Once in a while, Lenne found herself walking through streets almost ghostly, her bare feet barely touching the ground as she would skid across the stone pavement.

A slight smile was on her face as she passed by those that made eye contact with her soft cyan eyes. Her nose was at work, silently as her eyes were looking at the blissful faces of the sea side people. It was picking up so many different scents. The main thing was food, cue her growling stomach, salty air carried in by the winds off the cresting ocean waves, or maybe that musky smell from the couple that just walked by.

A knowing grin spread across her face as Lenne suddenly caught a different smell. It caused a chill to run down her spine, her step faltered slightly. Of course it could just be her nose playing tricks on her, there were plenty of foodies that used charcoal as a additive for their meats and cooked items.

Lenne's steps continued, her nose wasn't lying though as she slowly caught the scent of sea weed. Maybe that was what she was looking for. A new grim look was on her face, her hidden hands balled up, the tap that her sword gave against the back of her leg reminded her that she wasn't defenseless.

Not that her magic wasn't strong on it's own.

The smell, charcoal, ash, and then there was the slight smell of a camp fire. The latter of the scent touched her face with a slight smile. Of course with her element some would believe she despised fire, but instead she found a slight comfort with being able to see the illumination of the night. Even when it was out, the soft hue of the ember helped lull her to sleep.

Shaking her head, Lenne's head snapped and her feet carried towards a small vendor, the smell of sea weed grew stronger. Of course she had yet to get hit with that 'scent of fear'.
