Trayzook Noemki [Done]

Tray, grew up as e thought was a normal childhood, his parents were encouraging and supportive of him; always wanted him to grow up stronger and better. That is until as he grew older from a small child it appeared to them that he did not have any magic abilities, that’s when things swiftly changed, his parents fought blaming one another.  Also they started putting him through all sorts of tests and challenges that were both cruel and painful, they were designed to uncover any abilities he may have but no avail.  This went on for years always needing to fight and earn everything he got from them, it was no longer a environment of a home but of hostility where he always needed to be on his guard from the people he used to call his parents.  As this drew on he became more and more observant of everything around him, becoming old enough and smart enough to realize his parents were members of a dark guild of mages and their plans of him rising to become a tyrant. How those dreams were crushed with him not developing magic abilities- that they noticed at least.  Tray began to notice as he exercised and trained his body he mind became equally acute and more advanced.  He was able to learn and do almost anything he read about and studied.  Also making training his body a part of his regular routine to keep them both advancing.  At the young age of 15 he started reading about any topic he could get his hands on, and when he wasn’t reading books he started learning how to become an items maker because it was fun for him.  But the stress of one failed “test” after another became too much for his father who was so determined he was supposed to have a son that would rise to be become feared and obeyed by all, became too much.  He disowned Tray told him he could pack one bag and leave for good.  He ran not even looking back once, he ended up in the outskirts of Era he wanted to be close enough to the magic council to observe little bits and pieces without becoming noticed by them. Fortunately  to his knowledge and early physical stature he was able to find work, odd jobs, and a lot of manual labor until he became an apprentice of an items maker.  Through all this he quickly realized that his father would not leave him alone, he would frequently be mugged and his apartment trashed and robbed he began studying many different types of martial arts as well becoming very proficient in them.  Also he would find messages left for him in his personal things that only his father could say, after an “encounter” with one of these “messengers” he learned for sure that they were al sent from his father.  Regardless of this he learned to cover his tracks even better making it harder, and almost impossible for even his father to find him.  After opening his own small items shop, he fell in love, with young girl named Dia they were both 22.  They got engaged, they were so happy, although he was always on edge he had told her about his father but that didn’t scare her away, they were 3 days from the wedding when he walks home to find the place demolished and his Dia brutally murdered and the a message carved into the wall “found you”. He sold the shop took his money had a funeral for his fiancé, put her engagement ring on a necklac and a week later showed up on his fathers doorstep.  At first the interaction was screaming throwing things to the ground shattering glass and furniture, then it became a fist fight.  after his father saw he couldn’t beat him he ran to his room and Tray ran after him, he came through the door and saw his father preparing a massive destructive spell meant to kill.  “I’m finally going to do what I should’ve done when you were still a boy! This is the last thing you’ll ever see!”  As Trey with no more concern for himself only fueled by his rage and vengeance so near he couldn’t stop now but as the spell approached leaving from his fathers hands, he felt an overwhelming surge come out from within himself unlike anything he’d ever felt before overcoming him, they both let out echoing screams and as the spell hit it was not what was expected to happen, Tray was not obliterated but there was instead a huge blinding flash and followed by the sound of and explosion almost leveling the house.  Then silence for hours.. Tray was the only one who walked out of the ruble that day.  Seeing now that he did have magic ability of some kind, he would just have to find out how or what it is.  He became a ghost after that, taking on the name Void, never getting attached or developing close friendships this went on for almost a year slowly discovering more about his own magic ability, when one day he found himself surrounded by the councils palidins.  One officer approaches him “Trayzook Noemki you are coming with us”  he slowly responds “I’m sorry but you must have me confused with someone else, my name is –“  he is cut off by the same man “ we know exactly who you are ‘Void’ you’re not fooling anyone with that now are you gong to come easy or hard?”
They hold him for a few days, bring him back in for questioning and interrogating him about his father and what happened that day he last saw him and where he is now.  Accusing him of actually working with his father for some evil plot he had never heard of.  Time and time again he explained to them the same situation that he had been disowned kicked out of home when he was 15 and that was the first he had any direct contact with his father in 7 years.  They also kept pressing him on how he survived, and wouldn’t believe him when he told them he wasn’t sure how he did, he just did.  Then they questioned him about what guild he belonged to, his response being he never had any magic abilities to belong to a guild, finally they let him go, after being questioned by one of the council members, but on his way out the man told him “just remember ‘Void’ we’ll be keeping an eye on you”..

Void sits silently with his head an eyes straightforward, seemingly not even noticing the man from the magic council no less than two feet from his face asking the same questions he been asking him for hours now, blank calloused pain in his eyes.  He starts drifting away in his head, thinking of Her again, it brings a faint smile to his face and just then he is literally slapped out of it by the man from the council. Hitting him again across the other cheek.
Council man- “What is your father planning Tray!”
Void-“I have no clue what you’re talking about”
Council man-“Don’t give me that, we know you went and saw him 9 months ago, the two of you got in an argument.  About what? Did you want to take control of the operations, think you could do better than your old man?! If you don’t fess up to something I can have you locked away for good!”
Without warning, still being chained to his chair Void (Tray) quickly jumps to his feet and shoulder checks the man flat onto his back. Slowly sitting back down  staring at the floor.
Void-“like I told you before my father disowned me and kicked me out when I was 15, I hadn’t spoken or seen him 7 years, I went and saw him that day because he killed my fiancé. HE KILLED HER!! That’s what we were arguing about the first thing I said to my father in not seeing him for 7 years was ‘I’m going to send you to the hell you deserve’ to which he replied ‘everyday you’re alive you’ve already succeeded’ we yelled fought, then he threw the spell at me that should’ve killed me but it didn’t.  there was a blinding flash then an explosion, I woke up I don’t know how much later the house was almost flattened I just got up and left I don’t even know if he’s alive or where he might be now”.
Council man-“ well lets just see if you can sound that convincing tomorrow, guard take him back to his cell! Oh and just so you know Tray, you’ll be facing the chairman tomorrow, be ready to tell the truth.”
Void- “ I’m beside myself with excitement” (very sarcastically and spitting on the wall on his way out the room)
