Description: Gale Force magic is a type of wind magic originally wielded by the Hermit Witch, a reclusive and extremely powerful mage who makes her home on a remote island just off of Fiore. Gale Force magic focuses on overwhelming speed and power, slicing opponents to shreds with razor winds and outmaneuvering with blinding speed.
Strengths: Gale Force Magic is an extremely fast and powerful magic, concentrating on speed before all else. It can buff a user’s speed and even strength, and has enough power to cut through the opposition in a rather literal sense. Gale Force is versatile, however, and its winds can just as easily batter an opponent with a wall of force as it can slice them to ribbons. Gale Force in Kotone’s hands is as much support as it is attack magic, since she can already rely on her ice dragon slayer magic to crush her opponents
Weaknesses: Gale Force magic is wind magic, and as a result steel or earth magic are particularly resistant to it. The magic is also relatively light on defenses, with sheer speed being its main way of protecting users from harm. Gale Force magic isn’t well-suited to long, drawn out fights, because even enhanced speed provides little advantage to an opponent who has learned to predict one’s moves well enough. Kotone can easily use the magic to change up her fighting style to throw off an opponent, yes, but an over-reliance on it will quickly drain her of her magical energies, especially if combined with the more defense-oriented ice dragon spells.

Effect: Kotone launches a blade of wind at high speeds towards her opponent. The wind can easily cut flesh and cause serious injury if Kotone doesn’t blunt the force of her magic to stop it from cutting her target.
