You! Yes you! Do you have any plan to slack off or something? Well, let me tell you that we won’t let you! GO GO GO Get out of your seats and start going on missions. Do you or do you not want to be a famous wizard? Certainly all of you want to rank up?! Then what are you doing sitting there lazily? Go on MISSIONS!

Alright guys, we discuss about requests here. All you guys need to know is that you need to go on missions for some experience points, money and fame points. So let me tell you guys what you guys have to keep in mind and know while doing missions.
Here are some rules:
1. Post in the job and make sure a staff member okays you to do said job. You can't take a job of a higher rank than your own.
2. Either Complete the job as directed using the minimum amount of total words listed below
2A. OR Complete the Mission as it is laid out by the GM
3. post in the experience rewards in the job board section

It's not that complicated, but it's useful to know when you want to start amassing fame and fortune.
The mission you take rewards you all with experience points:
D Rank – 5xp
C Rank – 10xp
B Rank – 15xp
A Rank – 20xp
S Rank – 25xp

Now as you go on doing missions, it can also determine how famous you are.
D Rank – 5fp
C Rank – 10fp
B Rank – 20fp
A Rank – 30fp
S Rank – 50fp
Now you guys get the moneh!
D Rank – 1,000 – 2,000J
C Rank – 3,000 – 5,000J
B Rank – 7,500 – 10,000J
A Rank – 15,000 – 20,000J
S Rank – 30,000 – 35,000J

Now don’t think everything is going to be easy. For you to get your reward, you need to work very hard! There are some level requirement and word requirement you need to meet.
Level Requirement:
1-2 - D-rank
3-4 - C-rank
5-6 - B-rank
7-8 - A-rank
7-10 - S-rank*

*Note that S-rank missions may only be taken by wizards who have passed their S-rank exams

NON-GM'ED THREADS ONLY
Word Requirement:
D-Rank Mission - 500 words
C-Rank mission - 1000 words
B-Rank Mission - 2000 words
A-Rank Mission - 3000 words
S-Rank mission - 4000 words

Okay so some of you may be going no sweat no problem I can pass those word counts easy and excel beyond them, but what's the point you obviously don't get anything for doing extra stuff. Well, we are nice here and if you manage to pass the word count we have a nice little opportunity to get a little more jewels. Here is how it works.

So you have the base word count for each mission right? Let us, for example, just take a look at D rank missions so you can understand what I mean. Basically, once you pass the word count, every time you hit the word count again, in D rank for every 500 words after the original 500 needed to complete the mission, you gain a 1/10 increase in the amount of jewels you earn. This caps out after you pass the word count 10 times, so you can only effectively double your money. Do note though in the D rank example, you are now typing 5,500 words to get double what you would get by just typing up 500 words.

Alright! You are ready now. Go and have fun!~

The new Buddy GM system! We had a poll about it earlier. If you missed out then… TOO BAD! You’re probably benefiting from it anyway. As of today (April 5, 2014) We have multiple ways to tackle those pesky missions! All you have to do is say which you would like, and if doing a GM’ed mission: tell us who is GM’ing your mission, if it is a fellow member.

1. Word Count – This is if you don’t want you missions GM’ed by someone. You can bring any amount of buddies along that agree to come with you, and each of you will have to reach the word count for the type of mission. It’s essentially either solo or cooperative storywriting. Remember: If you post solo you have to wait half an hour in between each separate post. Bringing a buddy along negates this!

2. GM’ed Missions – If you want to mix things up and have someone else play the antagonists and helpers on your mission, opt for this choice. You can either have a staff member GM (though they may refuse if they don’t have the ability to GM for you at the moment), or you may get someone else in the community to GM for you!

Member GM’ing

If you want to GM a mission for someone, all you have to do is get permission! You can even post under the character account of your choice in order to get the exp from your efforts of posting and helping someone make their mission more fun. Once you have permission, state in the first line of your first post in the mission that you will be GM’ing rather than controlling your own character. You'll even gain the exp for completing the mission, just like the participants do!

The other note is, if you’re GM’ing, don’t troll. Missions are there to make things fun for the characters involved, not to beat them into submission (unless they tell you they want to fail a mission for some reason).  So make things interesting, but remember the ultimate goal is probably for the person to win and get the money.

One last update!

Failed missions can give you just as much experience as missions won. We learn more from our failures than our successes, or so they say. So! If you fail a mission, you’ll get full exp just like if you had won. We’ll even OOC’ly hand you the jewels so you don’t feel gyped for taking one for the team in the name of character development.
