THE DEATH OF A QUEEN

Falling from her horse in a tragic accident, the young and beautiful Queen Cecily of Conté has died, plunging the court into deep mourning. Leaving behind a bereft husband and infant daughter, the loss of Cecily is felt throughout the realm and intrigue abounds.

With the upcoming Royal Tournament to determine who has the honour of marrying the king's beloved sister Princess Jessamine, many wonder how many foreign courts will send their daughters along too, hoping one will catch the king's notorious wandering eye.
